Alumni Regions

Alumni are divided into eight geographic regions for professional development and networking opportunities. These regions connect alumni from related geographies with each other to share resources and foster collaboration around NOAA data and physical and marine science content.

Great Lakes & Plains

Our newest regional group, the Great Lakes/Great Plains Teacher at Sea Alumni (GLGP TASA) network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.



Gulf of Mexico

The Gulf of Mexico Teacher at Sea Alumni (GOM TASA) network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.



Mid-Atlantic

The Mid-Atlantic Teacher at Sea Alumni (MATASA) network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Delaware , Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

New England

The New England Teacher at Sea Alumni (NETASA) network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest Teacher at Sea Alumni (PNW TASA) network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.



Pacific Southwest

The Pacific Southwest Teacher at Sea Alumni network is composed of NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah.

Southeast

The Southeast Region Teacher at Sea Alumni (SETASA) network is composed of  NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Tri-State

The Tri-State Region Teacher at Sea Alumni network is composed of  NOAA Teacher at Sea Alumni from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
