Rebecca Himschoot (TAS 2007) Receives Presidential Award

Rebecca Himschoot (TAS 2007) was one of 102 teachers nationwide to receive the 2012 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. The White House announced the winners of the nation’s highest honor for teachers of math and science on December 20, 2013. Congratulations Rebecca! 
  
The award includes a $10,000 cash prize from the National Science Foundation, a trip to Washington DC to meet President Obama, and a tour of the Smithsonian.
