Applications

The NOAA Teacher at Sea Program will accept applications this year (2024) for teachers to sail in the 2025 season. Since we are still sailing a limited number of teachers, to ensure that we can offer the program to as many new participants as possible, we will not be selecting an alum to sail for the 2025 season.

If you are not a Teacher at Sea alum, you can find the main program application and information here. The online application for NOAA Teacher at Sea Program’s 2025 Field Season will be available via a link on this website throughout the month of November, starting on Friday, November 1, 2024. All application materials are due at 11:59 pm PT on Monday, December 2, 2024. A PDF preview of the application questions (PDF, 13 pages) is available now.
