Ten NOAA Teacher at Sea alumni participated in the National Science Teacher Association conference in Indianapolis, IN from March 28 – March 31, 2011. While at the conference, the alumni worked in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s booth to inform the public about NOAA’s Teacher at Sea Program and distribute NOAA education materials. The alumni’s work helped to inform science teachers and others NOAA’s mission and service to the public, as well as show our impact on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education.
