U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H. Visits Michele Brustolon’s (TAS 2010) Classroom
Michele Brustolon (TAS 2010) and her eighth-grade science students welcomed U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, D – N.H. on Wednesday, January 16. Senator Shaheen heard about Ms. Brustolon’s presentation on December 19, at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History at the “Scientist Is In: Ask an Expert” event and wanted to see first-hand what Ms. Brustolon was teaching in her classroom. The former governor of New Hampshire was impressed that Ms. Brustolon was selected to speak about her Teacher at Sea experience at the Smithsonian and spoke to her students about what they learned from her experience as a Teacher at Sea.
