NOAA Teacher at Sea Stacey Klimkosky and scientist Grace Simpkins, a Match Made at Sea! 

Stacey Klimkosky (TAS 2009) and Grace Simpkins, project manager for the NOAA Outreach and Education on Protected Species NOEPS program, developed by NOAA’s Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s Protected Species Branch in Woods Hole Laboratory, presented at the International Teacher Scientist Conference in San Francisco on February 11-12, 2015. Stacey and Grace’s presentation highlighted their collaborative teacher-scientist journey and engaged participants in several of the lesson topics included in the NOEPS program.
