Rebecca Loy (TAS 2015) presented at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) Museum in Syracuse, New York on November 21, 2015. The Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) sponsored Ms. Loy’s talk, “What’s Down There? Exploring the Oceans with the NOAA Teacher at Sea Program”.  

More than one-hundred people of all ages attended and learned about Ms. Loy’s research cruise aboard NOAA Ship Rainier, hydrographic surveying, and charting the seafloor using nautical charts. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in several hands-on ocean activities that were created by Ms. Loy. You can read more about the event here.
